I grew up in Wisconsin on 70 acres of land where my love and appreciation for the natural world started. My dad is a handy guy, always doing things outside. He's been making maple syrup since he was six and come every March he's busy for the 10-15 days gathering and cooking down sap. He actually just made his own reverse osmosis machine to help separate the sap from the water so there's less time in cooking it down. Like I said, handy guy.
