THE STORY BEHIND BOUDHA LAYERS
One of my favorite places I lived had a rooftop with a 360 degree view of the whole Kathmandu valley. It was great to get a feel for the weather, lighting and air quality year round. This image was taken in December after an unseasonal rain had just cleared brining the Langtang Himalaya range into view. The softness on the right side is from a prayer flag that came into the frame and at the same moment a pigeon passed by. How could a moment be anything other than spontaneous.
