THE STORY BEHIND Ddhäl Ch'èl Cha Nän
Ddhäl Ch'èl Cha Nän means "ragged mountain land" in Hän or Hwëch'in, the first nation peoples of this territory in the Yukon. These lands are pure magic, from boreal forests to arctic tundra extending in all directions, permafrost landforms and rugged peaks. This frame came into view from across the valley while meandering along the goldensides trail at 10pm. The long light hours added to the surreal and energetic feeling of these beautiful lands.
