THE STORY BEHIND PASSING OVER
This image was taken from one of my favorite villages in the Nubri region. On an acclimatization day out of the valley we walked up 5,000 feet to Kal lake. It was a beautiful and long hike as anticipated. Upon arriving back we were all exhausted and with weather moving it was perfect timing for nap. Waking up I looked out the window to see the tail end of the storm moving through the mountains to the north. I grabbed my camera and jacket and headed out. The dissipating clouds continued to conceal and reveal aspects of the beautiful landscape while keeping in mind that just beyond this ridge to the north, Tibet extends.
